Would it be weird if someone drastically changed their appearance over a break?

So it was my birthday a couple months ago, and I just went shopping with the gift cards/ money this week. I used to be a prep (lots of argyle/skirts/ect.) but I bought a completely different biker type wardrobe (pleather jacket, boots, skinnies) Would it be weird if I suddenly came to school wearing a completely different style of clothes and make-up? Would that like freak people out? I wasn't trying to change styles, it kind of just happened :P
