Is anyone else tired of the racial issue in this election?
I mean I am white, and I am all for Obama. So how come some black people are talking about us saying that we won't vote for him because he's black? Or some white people won't vote Obama because he's black. It's time to move on from the black vs. white issue. Don't people get that color doesn't matter anymore? I do understand that there is still prejudice people in this world, but its not only white people being prejudice against blacks, but also blacks prejudice against white. And it is getting on my last nerve. I think this election sucks, because it seems to me a more "racial battle" rather than election on whose the best candidate. I have had people literally tell me that they do not know why they like Obama, other than the fact that he is black. And its ridiculous. If that's all that people are basing their decision on, then this country is seriously in trouble. I think Obama is the best candidate, and that it is time for a change. The country is in big need for it, especially after our run in with Bush. But geez, can't people learn to set racism inside and make a rational decision??? Does anyone else feel this way or is it just me?
