How do get rid of the many photos, attachments, doents that automatically get saved now???????????

"Saved" photos CANNOT be individually deleted (check all instead of check to delete) ! Almost every email I receive contains photos and attachments which AUTOMATICALLY go into this huge PHOTOS "(SITE?)(I am computer illiterate) which I cannot reduce by deletion!!!! WHERE do I go for directions to control this constant increase? Also do NOT understand YAHOO"S organization of all this. It seems to be to be one COMMERCIAL enterprise to make for al these sites!
